Reconnecting Carms CIC is an organisation that seeks to help people and give them a safe space and time to themselves. They have talks, walks, arts, crafts and stitching sessions. Everything is free to everyone (subject to limits) kits are posted out monthly and they get together on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings. There are two whatsapp groups that help to bring them all together to support and encourage each other. The craft sessions and talks are delivered online
by Zoom.
Sandra provided all the materials, and some knowhow, on making Christmas Decorations. There was a mixture of ladies and gents enjoying the crafting session and Christmas music with Robert racing around making teas and coffees!
The two hours flew by with all the chatter and crafting. Sandra agreed that it was such a success that she would put on a special Cwm Aur Wednesday Evening Session – some logistics need to be work through first and preparations of material but the residents are very much looking forward to their next session.
