This badge is for someone who goes above and beyond for their community, and/or is knowledgeable of the information in their area.
- Person must be nominated by another member of the community.
- Send a written statement of how they have supported people or community groups.
Local coordinator
Support others in your community by applying to become a Local Coordinator.
As a Local Coordinator, you can help in two ways:
- Act as a key point of contact for people in your community needing help and support.
- Coordinate people in your community who can provide help and support.
Reference checked timebank member
This badge is for someone who has joined the timebank. Reference checking is a mandatory part of the timebank to ensure it stays safe for all.
Digital champion
This badge is for someone who shares skills and knowledge to promote digital inclusion. This can be Whatsapp, Facebook messenger, microsoft packages etc.
- Submit a written statement on how you have supported people in the community to access online resources.
DBS checked
This badge is given to someone who holds a current DBS certificate.
- Email us evidence of your DBS certificate.
Above & beyond 2021
This badge is given to the organisations that were voted winners by their community peers in the 2021 Above & Beyond awards.
Multi-lingual
This badge is given to organisations who can communicate in more than English.
- Email us evidence that someone in the organisation can communicate in English and other languages.
- Written statement or telephone call from the multi-lingual speakers.
Welsh speaking
This badge is given to organisations who communicate in Welsh.
- Email us evidence that someone in the organisation can communicate in Welsh.
- Written statement or telephone call from the Welsh speakers.
Grass root
This badge is given to a group that has been set up by the community, for the community.
- Email us a written statement, including an overview of the group, when it was established and who is involved.
Be active
This badge is given to members who are taking opportunities to be more active and to improve their wellbeing through movement.
