As a volunteer driver you will be picking up older people to take them to the local activity group in St Clears and returning them home safely on a monthly basis. (First Tuesday of the month 12 -2pm) The activity group is usually two hours

  • Driving older guests using your own car to the venue and returning them home again after the activity.
  • Staying at the group to help with activities, conversation and help serve refreshments.
  • Liaising with the group coordinator to confirm which older guests you will pick up.

If this sounds like something you would like to do, then please use our online application form to apply: Become a volunteer driver helping older people (reengage.org.uk)

You are not required to do any lifting. We welcome drivers with four door cars, a full driving licence, an MOT and insurance.

Groups will usually meet at the same venue on the same day and time of each month. Your group co-ordinator will be your main contact and will make the overall arrangements of the activities. You will be required to complete a DBS check for this role which Re-engage will cover the cost of.
