Transport for Wales (TFW) operates local and long distance train services across Wales and the border counties of England.

Our Community Rail team seeks to connect communities with the railway by delivering on the seven goals and five ways of working set out in the Welsh Government's 'Well Being of Future Generations Act.'

We work with people and organisations across the network to identify and leverage opportunities for social, cultural, economic and environmental benefits our train services can provide.

We do this through purposeful engagement and constructive conversations to support communities get the most from their railways, promoting social inclusion, sustainable travel, volunteering opportunities and, where possible, help bring stations to life.
