Home Start Cymru supports families across Wales and we have local projects across West Wales in Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire offering families with young children emotional and practical support.
Across Carmarthenshire we have volunteers and staff offering local families support and encouragement, parenting is not always easy, and we are helping families to not feel alone during those difficult times.
Our support helps improve resilience of the family, improve confidence in parenting, reduce social isolation, strengthen relationships with children, increase local knowledge, access communities, practical support with the family at home, signposting to services needed to further build engagement and confidence into the local community.
Our volunteers offer support to help families emotional wellbeing in local communities to access and engage in local resources. Providing a non-judgemental approach supporting family’s needs. Meeting with others who understand family experiences during life’s challenges.
